We are part of a consortium of 40+ health libraries in Scotland, whose collections can now be searched online, individually or collectively, by any visitor to the Shelcat web catalogue.
Registration is required to borrow books, reserve items and renew loans. Registration is free to UK residents.
Dementia Managed Knowledge Network
The DSDC is working to develop a Dementia Managed Knowledge Network (MKN) as part of NHS Scotland's Knowledge Network. Anyone with an interest in the health and social care of people with dementia may join this network,which offers information, resources and opportunities for discussion.
The network is being developed in partnership with NES Knowledge Services Group and the Institute for Research and Innovation in Social Services (IRISS).

Dementia Topic Room
Pre-set searches and web links on a range of topics relating to dementia are available on the Social Services Knowledge Scotland website. This service is developed in partnership by IRISS, NHS Education for Scotland, Scottish Learning Networks and Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) to support practising social services staff through better access to information and knowledge.
