Welcome to the Dementia Services Development Centre (DSDC) London office website. The dementia centre is an international leader in the dementia field. With our office in London, alongside Belfast and Stirling, we are able to provide the services and support you need wherever you are and when you need us.
To celebrate our 21st birthday, London will be the venue for our International Conference 'Coming of Age' from the 19th to 21st October 2010. Focusing on the key themes of the English National Dementia Strategy this major event will be essential to all those working in the field of dementia care.
The dementia centre works to improve services for people with dementia. We work with the NHS, local authorities, the voluntary sector, emergency services and government organisations to provide unrivalled education and training in dementia. Our events range from international dementia conferences to workshops and seminars on dementia. We offer undergraduate and postgraduate modules and degree courses for those working with people with dementia. Consult one of the UK's largest collections in our specialist dementia library, by contacting our information team or visiting our Stirling office. Choose from a growing list of practical and authoritative dementia publications. We place an emphasis on promoting good practice for those working in the field of dementia care and inform this through the latest evidence-based research.
